Hello^^ At least 2 weeks saya tidak mengepost sesuatu, finally I am back!
Jadi selama itu guys, saya sedang menyiapkan graduation party tanggal 21 Februari 2018.. mulai dari gladi bersih, foto pra wisuda dan segala perlengkapan cewek biar rapi dan nyaman nantinya selama acara~ So far so good, meskipun tidak seramai tahapan wisuda sebelumnya but over all I was enjoyed meskipun very very tired TwT~ Alhamdulillah selama 4 tahun kuliah terbayar sudah perjuangan saya.. this is not the end, but start new journey for me! I give my bachelor for your birthday gift, yah~ Meski Ayah tidak disini, saya yakin beliau melihat saya dari sana.. Appa~I miss you so much♡♡♡

So back to main post**

Mereka bergabung bersama kami yang berjumlah 80 orang up.

Beberapa peserta termasuk saya mendapatkan kesempatan memakai pakaian tradisional Hanbok yang dipilih langsung oleh staff KCC.
Peserta yang dipilih staff KCC bersiap memakai Hanbok
Saya mengabadikan momen memakai Hanbok :)
Saya mendapatkan kesempatan langsung mempraktikan sebae dihadapan Mr. Kim dan setelah itu beliau memberikan blessing~ (새해 복 만히 받으세요…yang berarti Happy New Year!) sekaligus angpao (세뱃돈) yang berisi voucher belanja ^^

Terdapat dua permainan tradisional yang dimainkan, yutnori (윷놀이), salah satu permainan tradisional yang sering dimainkan saat perayaan Seollal, dan jegichagi (제기차기), permainan terkenal yang sering terlihat di variety show “Running Man.”

Go Go my team~ (Argo, Asri, Saya, Feri, Delima, Joshua)

Jika kita makan semangkuk tteok soup, umur kita bertambah 1 tahun.

KCC for invite me~

see you next post ^^

Every year when you visit to Surakarta, better known as Solo-in Central Java, Indonesia, celebrated the Seollal Lunar New Year as the Grebeg Sudiro celebration. The celebration of Grebeg Sudiro in Lunar New Year has a ritual meaning of thanksgiving to God and nature. Tuesday is back~^^ I have just finished watching the first episode of the new KBS TV drama “Radio Romance” and I can’t wait to see more! At first, it might seem that the plot is nothing special, but trust me, from the first hour I could tell that it was going to be different at the level of emotional connection. I already have so many questions about the characters’ past, yet so little answers…

While I am impatiently waiting the for the second episode to watch out, because I’ve so many drama I haven’t watch yet.. let us take a look what our two leading characters Song Geurim and Ji Suho are made of.

Geurim is a radio show writer, she has been doing it for 5 years now, but the improvements in writing are nowhere to be seen. Throughout the whole episode 1 she is being put down by her bosses, but she does not give up. When the idol who is the DJ for their show “Mi Nu's Happy 6pm” does not show up, she is trying to fill in and plays it off cool. When he suddenly decides to leave the country “to find his true self”, she chases him to the airport because of how much she values her job. Despite all the had comments she hears, she is high-spirited, determined to what she does, and persistent. No matter how much she dislikes Suho, when told to cast him as the DJ, she spends the nights studying everything about him, gets on the set of his drama, keeps begging and bugging him just to make him participate in the show.

Suho is a famous actor, whose posters are all over, and whose image, at this point, is sweet and angelic. He comes from the perfect family, and his parents seem to be noble people who raised him right. But then he stumbles upon Geurim, and something clicks in his head. He gets grumpy, and we witness his confidence overflowing as he is teasing the radio show writer; first acting interested in her show, and then pretending that he does not know her at all; being cold and unsympathetic to her actions, but then worrying as he is watching Geurim re-do the drama scene 20 times.

Yet both characters’ lives are not that simple. The reason why Geurim connected her life to radio is because of how often she listened to the radio with her mother, who is blind. When her mom asked her to paint pictures with words, she set a goal to become writer for radio shows, perhaps, for her dear one to listen. Despite all the difficulties she had, she is strong and full of enthusiasm. Suho, meanwhile, is having nightmares and is clearly detached from everyone, even his manager, who is doing best; his family seems to be like a fact act too. I wonder, what happened that made him act mean towards Geurim, and why is he alienated from others? What kind of connection did these two have when they were children/teens?

Don’t miss the next episode! The fifth episode on air tonight.
Showtime: Tuesday-Wednesday 21:50 KST

See you on my next post~

The opening ceremony of PyeongChang Winter Olympics was held yesterday, on Feb. 9, 2018. How do you feel about it? Yap, I’m so excited finally D-Day is coming. So far, do you know what about behind the story of medals, torch, the design, or PyeongChang’s mascots used in this big event? or anything that makes your curious about PyeongChang Olympics? Here we go, we learn about it.

The emblem of PyeongChang 2018 “symbolises a world open to everyone”, according to the official Olympic website. It draws on Korea’s indigenous writing system, or Hangeul. The two elements represent the first consonants in the syllables that make up the word “PyeongChang”. The first character also represents the philosophy of cheonjin, a philosophy that seeks harmony between heaven, earth and humanity. The second character symbolizes snow, ice and the athletes themselves.

The commemorative tickets for PyeongChang 2018 also make use of Hangeul, as well as depictions of snowflakes and pictograms of the events. They express Korean tradition, classical beauty and the excitement of winter sports. There are 28 kinds of tickets-one for the opening ceremony, one for the closing ceremony and 26 for the individual events. The Hangeul and the snowflakes not only express the atmosphere of the games, but also embody their messages of passion, humanity, peace and harmony.

cr. olympic.org
The tickets for the opening and the closing ceremonies boast gold and silver snowflakes and expressions of the excitement for the ceremonies, against a white background, which symbolizes winter sports. The event tickets, on the other hand, use pictograms composed of lines inspired by the Hangeul alphabet. Though beautifully simple, the pictograms feel solid, each one expressing the movement of the disciplines in dynamic angles. Their lines also maintain the space found in the official emblem. Though all the event tickets have white backgrounds, each event uses its own color for the other visual elements, including the pictograms.

The Olympic torch was unveiled to the public on Sept. 8. Soon after, it began an eight-day, 2018-kilometer relay and a prayer for a successful round of games, held under the slogan, “Let Everyone Shine”. The torch, designed by Kim Young-se, is white, which represents winter sports, but also reflects a motif based on the elegant white porcelain, or baekja, of Joseon times (1392-1910). Its body composed of five flames that form a single starburst at the top. The torch is 700 milimeters, a symbolic number as Pyeongchang is 700 meters above sea level.

The torch was designed to keep burning in inclement weather such as rain, snow, and heavy wind. When wind blows toward the flame, an air tunnel is created that provides the flame with even more oxygen. A hole at the bottom allows water to drain.

The gold, silver, and bronze medals, designed by industrial designer Lee Suk-woo, were inspired by three very traditional elements: the Korean alphabet, Hangeul; traditional clothing, Hanbok; and traditional homes, Hanok. The Hangeul consonants for “PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games,” ㅍ, ㅊ, ㄷ, ㄱ, ㅇ, ㄹ and ㅍ, were stretched out into cylinders, which were then sliced rice cakes to form the medals. Indeed, when viewed from the side, the medals spells “PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.”

cr. korea.net

The strap of the medals are made of gapsa, a traditional fabric that is lightweight and sheer. Using traditional techniques, the Hangeul consonants and snowflake pattern are weaved into the fabric. The PyeongChang 2018 wordmark and the Olympic emblem, meanwhile, are stitched using traditional embroidery.
Not to be neglected, the wooden case for the medals adopts the simple, elegant lines of the curved eaves of a traditional Hanok home.

The two mascots of the event continue to pop up in domestic and global locations in promotional efforts. Soohorang is the mascot for the Olympics, while Bandabi is for the Paralympics. The name Soohorang (수호랑) is a portmanteau of the Korean words sooho and horang-i, which respectively mean “protection” and “tiger.” The rang has double significance as a syllable taken from the Jeongseon “Arirang,” a folk song representative of Gangwon-do. The white tiger is a spiritual animal believed to guard the Western Realm. It is one of the four mythical animals of an Korean folktale, the others being the blue dragon, the vermilion bird and the black tortoise.

Bandabi (반다비) is an Asiatic black bear, a typical animal of the province of Gangwon-do. The bear is recognized by the crescent mark on its chest, which is why it is called bandalgom in Korean. Bandal means “half-moon.” The mascot’s name Bandabi is derived from bandalgom, with the suffix bi, which has the meaning of celebrating the games. Bandabi has a warm heart, with which it can embrace people around the world. It has great endurance and bravery, and most of all, he is faithful and reliable.

So, have your curious about PyeongChang Olympic fulfil? I hope you like this post guys ^^

Jika kalian belum tahu, KBS World sangat dermawan sekali ketika membuat event / program / kuis berhadiah untuk fans-fans korea.
Setelah semuanya terpenuhi, kalian punya kesempatan memenangkan hadiah keren seperti CD album bertanda-tangan artis K-Pop grup, souvenir khas Korea bahkan sampai tiket perjalanan ke Korea!

Here we go!

Mungkin saya sudah terhitung 4 tahun menjadi pendengar KBS World Radio sejak pertengahan 2013.

KBS WORLD ❤ ❤ ❤ SARANGHAEYO !
